How to Undo/Remove Reactions from a Facebook Story

Emojis are everywhere in the modern world. We’re constantly using emojis to express ourselves and translate our emotions into a digital format. Reactions are Facebook’s way of providing a quick way to express our feelings for a certain post, message, or story.

Facebook Reactions are a series of 7 emojis you can use to respond to a post. The options include: Like, Love, Care, Haha, Wow, Sad, and Angry.

In addition to the News Feed and Messenger, Reactions are available on Facebook Stories. By reacting with a relevant emoji on a story, you can share your emotions without replying with a message.

There are times when you accidentally react to a Facebook story. Did you know that you can delete reactions on Facebook Stories? The option comes in handy when you react with an inappropriate emoji or simply didn’t intend to react to a story.

The steps are very simple.

In the Facebook mobile phone app, view the particular story that you want to undo emoji reaction.

Tap the 3-dot icon at the top-right corner.

Select ‘Undo sent reactions’.

All the reactions to a story will appear. In this case, I have reacted multiple times with multiple emojis on a single story.

To delete or undo a reaction, tap ‘Undo’.

That’s it. The reaction will be instantly removed for you as well as for the person who posted the story.

Just make sure to undo your choice before the receiver views your reaction.
